I am a longtime fan of Ina Dyreborg (and her dog!) and have been following her on Instagram for years. Today she shared that her business is struggling. Like so many artists and creators right now, it’s challenging to get yourself seen, to find time to make, to afford having a lot of inventory on hand.

Becoming a bird lover is not something I saw coming. Bird watching was and is my parent’s hobby and being the defiant eye roller that I was as a kid, their mention was met with my annoyance and subsequent vanishing act. I was a toot. There really is no other explanation.

I am an artist and express myself through different mediums. I like to ingest the art of others — collect, ogle, share what I can. I am not a critic. For one, I don’t have a trained tongue and have a hard time communicating what speaks to me and what doesn’t. I can tell you if something feels askew or makes my eyes sparkle, and that’s where it ends.
